Web Site Internship Application Information

Web site internships with the American Horticultural Society are open to any recent college graduate with a degree in a computer or technology related field, and to those with relevant experience who are making a career change.

While working closely with the Communications Department staff, the Web site intern will have the opportunity to gain first-hand experience with Web site development and maintenance. Primary duties include coordinating images, text, and other content, making regular updates to the site using a content management system, monitoring Web site traffic, and creating e-newsletters.

Qualified applicants will have demonstrable Web development and maintenance skills, with a minimum of three sites they have worked on. Applicants who have experience writing and editing articles for Web use are particularly sought.
