It's in our roots...
For nearly a century, AHS has offered a variety of programs to thousands of people each year all over North America. Our programs appeal to everyone from teachers, children, and professional gardeners, to first-time gardeners and backyard enthusiasts.
We hope you were part of our 2016 AHS National Children & Youth Garden Symposium July 14-16 in Columbia, South Carolina, along with local co-hosts Clemson University Extension, Heathwood Hall, and Riverbanks Zoo & Garden. AHS members received discounted prices.
Members enjoy our award-winning magazine, The American Gardener (print and online, with searchable archives), free admission to 300 gardens, special events at River Farm, and access to our annual Seed Exchange.
With 300 participating gardens, it is easy to find one near you!
