Great Backyard Bird Count
Bird Watchers of all ages count birds to create create an annual snapshot of the distribution and abundance of birds. Launched in 1998 by the Cornell Lab of Ornithology and National Audubon Society, the Great Backyard Bird Count was the first online citizen-science project to collect data on wild birds and to display results in near real-time. AHS Spring Garden Market
Our annual Spring Garden Market to mark the start of the gardening season will be on Friday and Saturday this year. Members Only Morning on Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., then the market will be open to the public from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. On Saturday the Market is open to the public from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Dozens of regional vendors will be selling a variety of plants and seeds, along with garden-related accessories, books, and horticulture-themed art.
