The American Horticultural Society is one of the
founding members of the Partnership for Plant-Based Learning (PPBE),
a coalition of national organizations devoted to promoting the use
of plants as an important element of children's educational
programs. In addition to AHS, other PPBE participants include the
United States Botanic Garden, the National Gardening Association,
the National Wildlife Federation, and the Chicago Botanic Garden.
